It can feel impossible not to spiral in the midst of a separation or divorce, and intimidating thinking about structuring your future during this process. Our approach to creating a successful path is based on strategically walking through the following areas with our clients:
Creating a structure for communication early on eliminates an immense amount of issues later in the separation and divorce process.
A vital part of stepping through this process with grace and resilience is setting out a clear path and creating a future with your best self in mind. Doing this with a thinking partner to help you get creative and work outside the box can make a huge difference.
Finding the right support during this time is so important. Whether it is legal support, therapeutic assistance, financial planning, real estate help, or discovering new social groups or activities… finding trusted support is a vital part of creating good outcomes.
Avoid common pitfalls and the downward divorce spiral that we have all witnessed with friends by walking through this incredibly emotional time with an expert who can help you set correct expectations of the future and prepare accordingly.
We have all seen how certain stages of relationships, especially separation and divorce, can be tumultuous. Without the right outlook, forethought, tools and resources so many people end up in an uncontrolled freefall filled with contention, bitterness, resentment, and destructive behavior. These behaviors become patterns as the years progress, and destroy any chance of normalcy or hope for an easier future. Ironically, a better future is so often why a lot of couples split in the first place, so it ultimately doesn’t benefit anyone involved to let this spiral take over and for everyone to end in a worse place than they started. Whether you’re just thinking about taking some space, you’re deep into a divorce or you are divorced and trying to rebuild your life, bringing in a divorce coach can really help create a different trajectory for you and your family.

Couples coaching is recommended when two parents want to separate amicably and stay focused on their children through the separation and divorce process.
